Perfectly Blistered Shishito Peppers 🌶 (the easy way!) with a Super Yummy Tangy Sauce!
Hey guys!
These little peppers are seriously delicious aaand really bring some variety to the table!

Ya know how you can kinda get tired of the same things too often? This is a rad little dish that definitely throws a curve ball ⚾️
I'm actually really happy about sharing this recipe with you because it took my a stupidly long time to figure out how to make it easy.
But now I have, so it's time to share!
Note- these peppers are super mild! Nothing like Jalapeños 🌶
Here's the recipe:
Ingredients: 1 bag shishito peppers (I get from Trader Joe's) 1 TB avocado Oil/Extra Virgin Olive Oil Salt Juice of 1 large lemon 🍋 2 ts Cholula or Sriracha hot sauce
Directions: 1. Pour oil into a sauté pan over a medium flame 🔥 2. Rinse the peppers and cut little slits on both sides of the peppers. 3. Throw the peppers in the pan and add a pinch of salt. 4. Let sauté for a few minutes until browned and then shake the pan a little so they wiggle and a different side can get brown. 5. While they're sautéing, juice your lemon into a bowl and add in the hot sauce. 6. Once the peppers are browned nicely on most sides, add them to the bowl and stir to coat them in the sauce.
Can be served hot or cold! And, they look kinda fancy, so that's a bonus too :)
